As 3D printing lab responsible you are ensuring the smooth operation of the 3D printing activities within the R&D projects taking place at Antleron. You actively engage with the researchers to provide a seamless service to both internal and external users of the 3D printed parts. As we are still innovating our printing operations and will be setting up a development pilot we need someone to guide these efforts.

As 3D printing lab responsible you will handle the print job work flow, printer maintenance and consumables stock. You also make suggestions to improve the workflow and manufacturing administration as our operations are expanding and evolving. You interact directly with researchers, both on the biological side and in the 3D printing field, to assist in the ongoing and future developments. This also includes production and processing of parts for the biological R&D team.

The specific tasks include:

  • Setting up administration and following up on print jobs

  • Maintaining the printing equipment, both the printers and auxiliary tools

  • Maintaining stock levels of printing supplies, and performing batch control

  • Quality control on printed parts and assisting in development of tools for this task

  • Assisting in the design of 3D printed biomedical devices

We are looking for someone with a hands-on mentality, a drive to continuously innovate, and the ability to take charge of the operational side of our research. As we are a multidisciplinary team an inquisitive mind with a broad scientific interest and a willingness to learn will ensure a good fit in the team. As such the following requirements are not set in stone, but are rather a guideline for the type of profiles we will be considering:

  • A bachelor's degree in biomedical or chemical technology, mechanical engineering or equivalent

  • Functional knowledge of office software

  • Comfortable to communicate and report in English. Functional knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

  • Comfortable to work in a biochemical lab and R&D environment. Previous experience in a laboratory environment is a bonus.
