Successful second edition of Life-on-Chip conference in Leuven

Nearly 200 attendees gathered in Leuven for the second edition of the conference 'Life-on-Chip - Enabling personalized medicine by cross-over innovation’.

Innovations in health and life sciences

This year's central theme covered innovations in the health and life sciences sectors as well as fields at the intersection of other enabling technologies including micro- and nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, design thinking, robotics, manufacturing technologies and big data. Combined with ever-growing biological insights and discoveries, the resulting innovations enable amazing applications that will make personalized medicine a reality. Also the one-on-one matchmakings created a lot of enthusiasm.

Our CEO Jan Schrooten kicked off the second 'Life on Chip' Conference in Leuven and chaired the keynote speaker sessions. One keynote speakers talked about life sciences research in space and onboard in the International Space Station (ISS). Other thematic sessions included cross-over innovations in personalized medicine within Belgium (Flanders and Wallonia) and neighboring countries.
